Not for the first time
I know I have blipped ribbons before but it's a really damp and windy day and I was tidying them away and thinking how much pleasure I get from these simple pieces of fabric; most come from the 'handles' of fashion shop bags, some from floral displays. There's no great sentiment attached; I use them as bookmarks and match the book to a suitable ribbon .... nordic noirs tend to get the grey, Joanna Trollope got white, sciencey books get red and art exhibition catalogues, like the Fergusson, get the purple. Haven't used the gold yet; what might be in store?
Now I've got the happy task of tidying them all away: pretty zen, eh?
