I sense a theme emerging...

... another letterbox, long distance, linear horizon shot. The brand new wind farm not trees this time. I think it's the lovely weather drawing me to these shots at the moment. I thought I'd go mono as a contrast to their ultra modern look. (I was going to open a debate as to the need for or wisdom of wind farms but I'm not sure I could bear the consequences...This one lies right alongside the M1 in Northamptonshire.)

I had a meeting with a particularly tricky client today. As is so often the case with those more than ready to moan and criticise when on the phone, face to face he didn't quite turn into charm personified but gave it a good go. That really annoys me but I am grateful that he was pleasant. He also arrived 3/4 hour early. Hmmmm....

I got a call from my cleaners at 11 as I'd set the house alarm by mistake, again! How embarrassing. They were very forgiving in the circumstances.

My lovely and gorgeous colleague, K, is off on maternity leave today so we showered her with balloons, baby confetti, a silly 'mum to be' sash, baby clothes and cards. I gave her a cute teddy bear door stop for the baby's room in pretty brown and cream fabric with a teeny heart pattern. She really liked it and told me I have good taste. (Now tell me something I don't know!) Seriously, I'm going to miss her as she's a great all round colleague to work with, very dedicated and fun. She's also going to make a great mum.

Ch's house completed today and so I have booked the afternoon off to deal. It's such a beautiful day that I'm really pleased to have the excuse to be out and about.

L is due back from abroad later but I gather he's stuck in Budapest as they diverted the flight owing to someone falling seriously ill on the plane. Wonder what sort of mood he'll be in when he eventually gets back...

Finally and most importantly....It's FRIDAYYYYY!!
