Artificial Rain

Once upon a time, I thought it rained all year long in Thailand. Now I know better. This is dry season, so the farmers have found ways of making their own rain.

Our friend's farm seems to have everything, mini eggplant, papaya, coconuts, chili peppers, basil, green beans, cilantro, yams for animal feed, geese, chickens, and lots, lots more. They even make their own dish soap! The only things we bought for our daily cooking from the small market down the road were limes.

Our upcountry friends are happy to share, so my Bangkok friends already have a list of things they want to pick fresh and take back to the big city with us.
