Evening in town

Went into Edinburgh after work to get a quick laser zap towards my tattoo removal (ouch!) then met Nicola for dinner. She came equipped with what we call The Laughter Capsule - an envelope stuffed with our stupid, funny notes, stories and pictures we exchanged when we worked together years ago (before email existed in the workplace!). Whenever we think the other needs it most it gets passed between us as an instance mood lifter. It worked! Spent the next couple of hours in her company being grateful again I have the best friends.
Heading back to the station I found the art installation at St Andrew's square all glowing!
