My Radio Times is delivered on Tuesdays so Cc and I have a competition every Tuesday evening to see who can find the most words of three or more letters which are adjacent in the grid provided.

Each week an average excellent and good score is indicated. Cc goes for the excellent (and I must say she consistently does very well) - I just humbly class myself as good. (Although I must admit I feel delighted if I have discovered any words she has missed!) The Sunday Telegraph does something similar so we have a competition on Sundays too, as well as battling with the crossword.
