End of an era

A momentous day in the UK today. The end of an era. A bit of history happened today. Months and months of speculation in the press and other media as to when it would be over. There were some people cheering , some demonstrating and of course the cynics had a field day.

It started all that time ago, with high hopes from us all. It's sad that it's over but then perhaps it had run it's course.

Oh, and I believe Tony Blair left office today and Gordon Brown took over.
