Stik in the Park

This is the last of the Street Art Blips for a bit, although I might do some more in the future as there is still a lot of local street art yet to Blip.

Jamie and I took Tom and Sal, and Tom's pal Seth, to the park after school for a picnic tea and play, before the sun dropped and it got pretty chilly. It was lovely while it lasted though, and nice to do something different to the usual tea, homework, bath, bed routine.

I saw this art by Stik in the park and thought it was a good end to my series of three. The piece is a reference to Murillo's Three Boys - you can see the resemblance, although before I knew the background to the Blip I thought it looked like a pregnant mother cradling her tummy while her family looked on.
