City Cyclist
Charing Cross at the Woodlands Road junction is a nightmare for cyclists as lanes of traffic converge to join the motorway. So they take to the pavements to preserve life and limb. I stopped to let this person through on her bike as the pavement narrowed at the bus shelter. She smiled! I liked the harmony of the muted colour palette - brown, grey and black, and the clean lines of the shelter, with the Charing Cross sandstone tenements as a backdrop.
