Glimpses of What I See

the extraordinary hidden in the mundane

I love the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library. It's full of hidden things like this rotating bookshelf. One side is a normal bookshelf with popular fiction titles, and the other side is full of what appears to be mystery books. Really, the mystery books go about two inches into the shelf, and they are glued in place. Perhaps later on I'll photograph all the other quirks this library has.

I was in the library waiting for my friend to finish a meeting with her professor so that afterwards we could go have lunch around 1:00. Her professor kept her for two and a half hours more, so I had to wait a very long time for the delicious fettucini alfredo we ate. The funny thing is that I rushed over thinking I was going to be late.
