Pieris blooming

It was a very windy day today and wet until mid- afternoon. I then went for a wee walk round some of my garden flower beds to see what was stirring. I was delighted to see that both my Pieris shrubs are beginning to come into bloom. I photographed both ( one white, one pink) and after some deliberation have chosen the pink one for today's blip.
