The big thaw

This is the dam, flowing nicely, at the local lake. When I got out of the car to snap this, I was charged by the local duck population because they were certain I was there to feed them. When they realized I was empty handed, all I could see was a bunch of duck butts swishing away. Next time I go I'll be sure to bring duck treats. I wonder if they prefer sweet or salt?
