The Hit Men

Ah, a walk down memory lane! The Hit Men, guys from the 60's, 70's and beyond from Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, and other hit groups of that era, gathered together to create a show of music from all of the bands they played in through the years. The five guys from New Jersey, racked up some great songs with many groups and the audience sang and reminisced with them all. These guys are now in their 60's and still have energy and great voices, guitars and drums. It was such fun and I could remember most of the words. The Palladium theatre is an old theatre in St. Petersburg, Florida which was a great venue for this group to play. The building is definitely older than we all are, and it had great drama and stone columns, wooden beams and Greek columns in the hall itself. The lighting was very old world and the acoustics were good. A very nice venue for a smaller concert gathering. It is good to hear music from your past; it talks you back to that time, and they were good times. It was fun for the audience to sing along with some of the songs, and you could tell everyone was enjoying the show!
