Student Packets

These are some of the first student papers to grade this semester. These are not essays, but summary writing, which reveals whether students can read well enough to determine an author's main point and then quote that main point accurately in the summary. While this seems like it ought to be easy, it is amazing how far from the bulls-eye these students land.

So the fun begins! These papers, though, are much nicer to read and score than the essays that will be submitted in the near future.
