Duke

Today I went to help load my friend's new horse into the trailer for her weekly lesson and to bring him to his new home. The horse, whose name is Commuter, is an Arabian so loading him wasn"t easy. Finally, after several treats, four people waving their hands around, and one stomped foot, Muter was in. While my friend had her lesson I wandered around looking for blips and found this dog. His name is Duke and he is the biggest, sweetest, sleepiest dog in Alaska. I took a bunch of photographs of him, but this one was my favorite. A more typical position for Duke is lying down, so I had to work to convince him to stand up so that I could get a face shot. Oh well, I guess I have to save "shoot thy neighbor" for tomorrow.
