they're still there!

At the last corner of Back Road, between the Hildersham crossroad and Abington, there's a farm where these big white geese live. They often cross the road in a waddling file to get to the fields on the other side for grazing new wheat shoots or grass along the verge that's just tastier, I guess, because it's on the other side!

Recently I hadn't seen the geese at all, and there is a "For Rent" sign at the end of the drive, so I thought perhaps they were gone for good.

But yesterday, I was so delighted to see them again in all their waddling fatness, so I stopped in the road and took a proper photo. Fortunately no-one was behind me to be bothered.
