Saturday shopping

it's laiki day today - the street market is the cheapest place to go shopping for fresh produce

the bags contain:
4 different kinds of tomatoes (8 euro - we went overboard here)
3 bags of different kinds of wild greens (5 euro)
a cheese wheel (13 euro)
8 beetroot heads and greens (1 euro)
and you can also buy 'odd' clothing from the street market:
3 women's shirts (3 euro - i select materials suitable for craftwork)

and since we were on the road, we popped into the supermarket for a few staples:
2 large fillets of salt cod (18 euro - that's for 25 march when we eat bakaliaro)
3 small bakery loaves of bread (3 euro)
flour and sugar (8 euro)
dry beans and lentils (6 euro)
