East Gates at Royal Botanic Gardens

Edinburgh

These spectacular gates were first installed in March 1996. Designed by Ben Tindall. They are based on the beautiful Rhododendron Calophytum.
Specimans can be found in the woodland garden.

The new gates were made by Workington Cumbria by blacksmith Alan Duncan using electroplated stainless steel.

These gates complement the old black outer east gates which also feature rhododendron motifs.
