Broughton Street or Bust......

.....the families Holmes and Richards went to Bell's Diner for high class burger and fries this evening. It was a relishtastic end to the week. Pete and I stopped off for a pint in the frightfully posh Wally Dug en route to the Beard and Cardigan to round off the evening.

I notice the Tram People (TIE) are demonstrating selective optimism bias. Whilst squads of workers scurry about throughout the night on triple time payments, to ensure that Princes Street is open to buses and cabs for a month, elsewhere in the city not a single promise of street opening will be met. Poor old Constitution Street was supposed to open today, but diggers were still digging new holes at mid-day. Are TIE lying or just showing a systematic tendency to be over-optimistic about the outcome of their poorly planned actions?

Anyhoo, busy day tomorrow, but it's all good.
