What, in your mind, are the first signs of the new season?

Green shoots bursting forth?
Clouds of yellow daffodils?
Bees and butterflies?
Frog spawn in ponds everywhere?
Pretty girls in skimpy T shirts?
Seaside parking fees trebling overnight?
Dogs no longer allowed on the beach?

Or colourful buckets and spades and Dads building sandcastles?
