Washateria

A washateria is another name for what's known as a launderette in the UK or a laundromat in the USA and Canada. Washateria is a name used especially in Texas and apparently the first one opened in Fort Worth in 1936. Something new I've learned today! Think I'll stick with the British version though - it's sounds better!
