Abandoned

Well was up and about quite early for the promised walk with the dog. It was a lot cooler than I expected and the wind blowing off the sea was really keen. We walked on the seal side of the beach but there was nothing around. So we took the opportunity to walk around the perimeter of the new flood plain. This I have been reliably told is approx 4 miles in circumference and is 110 ha of intertidal habitat.

So approx five miles walked this morning and then the usual Saturday stuff including the supermarket run. Little legs are aching.

This photograph was taken at the Pyes Hall site looking inland. I just loved how lonely the boat looked.
