National mining museum.

Went deep underground as deep/high as the Blackpool Tower. A great museum but what a vile job.
On the way went through Horbury the birthplace of Stan Barstow - he of A Kind of Loving. It is also the home of Onward Christian Soldiers. The Rev Sabine Baring-Gould wrote the hymn for the children of the village as they marched to church at Whitsuntide 1865.
