Dumfirmline Abbey

the first Abbey was sacked in1560 ad.
and it was repaired in 1570 .
the new Abbey ,or church as it is called ,
was built in 1821 and is still in use each sunday. with a daily service .Robert the bruce is burried in the grounds of the old Abbey , in1329 ,
BUT HIS HEART IS BURRIED IN MELROSE ABBEY .
the abbey is one of the main point for the church in Scotand.
and is the resting place of many Scottish kings and queens.
