Good Cheer and JCB's

A veritable smorgasbord of Christmas delights - well, apart perhaps from the now-standard heavy machinery and disruption. Good to see the old deathtrap of a circus wheel is back up and rotating dangerously once again this year - some things never change! Apart from that, for the first time tonight, I got a real feel that we're approaching the festive period - always a good time of year. Not sure I can say that I'm really expecting an easing-off this year on the run-up though - the amount that has to be done between now and the last day of work is, quite frankly, mind-blowing. However, it's all about that last day when the door is closed and we get to spend some quality family time with everyone throughout the break. That's the reason for work, at the end of the day.

I see that I'm not the only one to use a similar view, if from a slightly loftier vantage point!
