Amethyst for Mum

Have been working to hard today to take a blip outside so falling back on memories
My fairly large lump of Amethyst reminds me of my Mum why I should think of her today I don't know but she was with me tonight,
The Amethyst is my Mum Vera's birthstone and as I love purple it's one of my favorites, Mums been gone for some 35 years but not a day goes by that I am not prompted to think of her.
Spring is a good time as she loved Daffodils because they were a flower she could see with their brightness Mum had a lot of vision problems and if she did not die at the early age of 61 she would have become blind very soon, as I will be 60 this year it is hard to think of my life being over in a years time it seems to young you could do a lot more with your years.
I have been digging the garden of my friend Richard he will be 101 this May and I feel the pains for my efforts , also cleaned his garage door taking the green of it from all the rain we have had this year. job well done he is happy he likes his place to be shipshape Lol better blip Sunday hope to go for a walk should be another sunny day Wooo Hooo !
