North Inch in the Late Afternoon

This is the edge of the North Inch golf course, which has a good claim to be the oldest known golf course in the world. James IV paid for golf clubs in Perth in 1502, and four players were prosecuted in 1599 by the Kirk Session (church authorities) for playing golf right here on the Sabbath.
