Testing TTC, 1, 2, 3, 4...
Linda and I had some errands in downtown Toronto, today. We got a family day pass for $11 which is cheaper than paying cash and more convenient, too. At Bloor-Yonge Station the Toronto Transit Commission had representatives handing out buttons to indicate the new names for the four subway lines in Toronto. It is a new wayfinding trial to, hopefully, make it easier for tourists, immigrants, and newbies to get around the system. The numbers replace long, difficult-to-remember names. We'll see how it goes. I think it's a good idea worth trying.
