.......I spy with my little eye.......

After collecting the bait for tomorrow's fishing match this morning I was booked in for an eye test.

The fall last Tuesday smashed my glasses....so I decided that instead of having them repaired.....again.......I'd have some new ones.

This is my prescription............Sph is apparently the spherical correction......Cyl is cylindrical correction..........and Axis is the axis of the Cyl. All put together it means I have astigmatism.............and my left eye is worse than my right....strangely enough I have only had three injuries around my eyes....all of them round the left eye!

The upshot is that my prescription has barely changed in 3 years.............so I can keep on using the prescription sunglasses I already have......the Daughter came with me and helped pick out some new frames....we went for the trendy half aviators that.......so they told me this morning......are all the rage.

The bill comes to £129...........the medical insurance will pay £125....so effectively that's a new pair for £4!

Pleased with the England win today.........not so pleased that the Irish won.......but O'Driscoll deserves to go out a winner.

Disappointed with the noisy neighbours win............and Chelski's loss.

United need to win tomorrow!

Another terrible night's sleep last night....so another attempt at an early night tonight.
