We let Maggie the wonky donkey out into the very small outside area today, she enjoyed being able to eat with the boys. Her lameness seems too be getting less but am now concerned as to whether the length of hoof growth will be impeding her ?? Bugger, bugger, bugger!! Really P'd off with the not knowing.,
While we were down at the field we noticed the sound of frogs purring ( males make a loud purring sound when with the lady frogs) we must have 60 + frogs all writhing around having fun in the morning sun. I've had this field for fourteen years and this is the first time we have had frogs...Fab!! Spent some time in the workshop this evening doing more curtain stuff.
More importantly, Ruby is off colour today, no food or water all day, shivery an just off sorts . Hopefully she will bounce back in the morning!
