The Long Walk

It is a day when the sky was grey and it was cold again, the few days of sun lulled me into a false sense that winter was behind us...

This is one of my favourite walks when I am not by our river. sadly in recent years, to my mind it has been spoiled by the introduction of the walkways and now it is easier to access for the masses, before it was just a track made by the few walkers who knew where it led but now sadly it suffers from the same fate as so many of these little places, inconsiderate people that litter that light fires and disrespect the beauty around them, it saddens me.

This morning I had the place to myself and I enjoyed the solitude, I know it is not much of a shot but it was all I could muster today
