A Wish

In the early morning it rained. After that it was only a slight drizzle and so I thought I shall go to the only famous place in my town - Brahadeeshwara Temple/Big Temple (Called as Periya kovil) locally. It is a huge temple built during by the Chola kings some 400 years ago.

There are many number of such "Nandi" scultures in the temple. It is a belief that a wish said to the Nandi will definitely come true :) and that's what the lady is communicating.

Will post a picture of the temple some other day.

Except for few drizzles, I enjoyed the time at the temple. It really had a new look after the rains.

Will be leaving to Hyderabad tomorrow early morning.
