A day out in London with The Ivars..!

We went into London Bridge today to meet up with Ivar, Fred's former flat mate and Best Man from our wedding.

Ivar's wife Marnie and their son Ivar Will were over for the week end following Ivar's week here doing research (he is a university lecturer in Dublin)We have not seen them since before Alex started school, so we have only ever seen photos of Ivar Will before!

We bought food at Borough market and munched it here, around Southwark cathedral in the sunshine! We spent time on the decking outside The Anchor pub, still soaking up sun, so Ivar Will could watch the boats on the river. We were joined by Ivar's brother Stephen. We then walked along the south bank past the Globe theatre.

It was lovely to catch up, and as so often in these cases, it seemed totally amazing that we had not seen each other for so long!
