Might as well .....

..... be Spring! Just lately I've been drawn to blips from the northern hemisphere where blippers have chosen to celebrate signs of new growth or late blooming plants, despite the fact that we are maybe three weeks away from the shortest day.

So I took a few minutes to check around the dying garden for similar signs of promise. I was spoiled for choice! So this might turn into a series if these hardy souls don't succumb to the forecast frosts.

Most astonishing was Acanthus Mollis throwing up a new spire beside the decaying one I've left for the birds. This plant is regularly drenched in salt water - it seems to like it!
