Decorating

Today I was thrown into decorating mode as our roofer friend suddenly turned up to remove the flue from the stove in the flat. (It had rusted from the inside out). I now have two weeks to get the place into shape before the next holidayers arrive. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't started this already - and I've only just started! It's a very big space to decorate and the floor needs a lot of repair and then a coat of paint I think. My body is complaining already!
I guess I should be thankful - it hasn't had any decoration since we built it in 2002!
