Demolition

I grew up on a housing estate called Ardler. On the 11th floor of what we call a "multi". There was 6 multi's altogether and the last one was demolished on Sunday. This is what's left of it.

The estate was a fantastic place to grow up, everybody seemed to know each other and I always felt safe there. The last few years I lived there though, the place started to really go downhill, with crime and drugs rife. So it's bittersweet memories really.

I had a drive up there today to take some pics and the place has changed beyond recognition.
