Skittles anyone?

Well tonight was the night we all headed of to the old Sheep's Heid Inn for a skittle night.

It is reported that this is one of the oldest inns in Scotland - for Mary Queen of Scots it became a stop off point on her regular jaunts between the royal palaces of Craigmillar and Holyrood. The Royal visitors continued with her son James VI whom tradition records presented the innkeeper with a richly embellished ram's head snuff box in thanks for the good times had playing skittles in the yard at Duddingston.

So if it's good enough for James VI it's good enough for me too! Its a really old (eg 200yr +++) skittle alley which means no mechanical means of putting the skittles up after a strike, so you have to dodge the balls propelled up the lane by your colleagues whilst you are resetting the skittles
This brought out the competitive spirit in everyone, but it's fair to say my team won and there were the two top scorers in the team too, so we were a happy bunch, especially as the Fitness team were all in the other team - what an example they set - not!
The two goons at the end should know better than vaulting over historical furnishings - shouldn't you E and S ?????
Thanks to everyone who came and made it a great night. Plenty blips taken many not suitable for publication
