King of the Island
A Wadering Albatross stood by a potential nest, throwing it's head back and calling. Maybe trying to attract a partner or warn others away from it's chose site.
Although most of the Wanderers are sat on nests, many with very small chicks, there are a significant number of non-breeders - some young birds, some failed breeders, some who just haven't nested this season for whatever reason - hanging around looking for potential mates and sites.
