The Peacock Butterfly

this faded butterfly has probably overwintered in a shed or garage and now that it is spring has woken up to lay eggs. ..

There are so many butterflies in the garden this year all fluttering around in pairs.

Butterfly pictures seem to be getting a bit of a habit.

Another bright sunny day.

P & co called for his bike which was in my summerhouse, then R & N called & will stay for dinner. C reckons she is cooking a chicken curry when she gets home from seeing D. R is going to fix my laptop which has failed at only 18months old. He thinks the hard disc is on its way out.

There is obviously something on at the Broad Leys PH which is just around the corner as the road & verges are full of parked cars...they don't seem to care where they leave them as long as they get to the pub !!

Musn't complain it is nice having a decent pub / eatery on the doorstep, not that we go that often...hopefully one day ....
