Beeston Canal

It would be a little excessive perhaps to describe Nottingham as 'the Venice of the Midlands', but it does have a substantial number of attractive and interesting canals. This one runs from the Trent near Attenborough to Castle Marina. This couple were taking their canal barge-home out of the City today in the glorious spring sunshine.
