Hat'll be the day
Today was a day for hats, I almost came a cropper on the way to the farmers market, first bit ice on the road.
Met a great cyclist on the canal on the way back, he was riding a vintage straight upright position dutch bike that he found in a skip. He was telling me that he was recovering from a double hip replacement and the bike worked a treat with his recovery. In the course of our chat I discovered it is nearly inpossible to shakes hands whiile riding a bike.
We all then walked down to the bazaar at the Garvald factory. It was a great event, The girls loved the puppet show although they did confess to being scared of the Giant. A covered her eyes and R cuddled A. Bumped into Joe and Bella at the puppet show, Bella had been scared of the Giant also.
From there it was picnic time on the bus to the St Andrews Day celebrations stuff in St Andrews Sq. It was really good, we were dancing at the childrens celiedh, taking photos with fling cameras for the photo comp, colouring, digging and even planting a wee tree in a pot to put in the garden. It was then time to go home via a wander through the christmas market and past the shows. We had to promise the girls we will go back when we have more time and they can go on the carousel.
A brilliant and busy day, only thing that went wrong was my camera battery ran out so early on.
