Sunny Sunday

What a most glorious day. Hope yours as been as lovely.
Spent first twenty minutes this morning before breakfast just watching a green woodpecker hopping about the grass and up and down the trees this morning, sadly just a little bit too far to be able to get a decent picture.

Then whilst having my breakfast two dunnocks seemed to be playing tag in the garden. Demolished a pile of ironing before hubby rose and suggested we put the bikes in the car and drive to the coast for a bike ride. We drove passed a beautiful garden carpeted in bluebells and an hour or so later I was cycling along the coast road between Thorpeness and Aldebrugh.

Fish and chips sat on the beach watching daft dogs playing catch in the sea and mums and dads introducing babies to the sea and trying to stop them from eating the pebbles, and little children racing the waves in and out trying not to get wet.

Cycled back to Thorpeness for ice cream before driving home. When weekends are like this I'm definitely going to be voting for a three day weekend !
