The Skylon

A friend gave me this plant nine years ago. It has recurringly produced new green leaves. Last summer I re-potted it, but a dark period followed when someone else was responsible for its welfare, and the plant nearly died. I have nursed it back to health, and it has prospered on my bathroom windowsill. Then the skylon appeared. Any ideas, anyone?
