Up above Llanthony
Day out on a Ten Tors preparation walk with school.
Great company, stunning scenery, fantastic weather.
Looking East towards the border.
The Black Hill that possibly inspired that great work by Bruce Chatwin, On the Black Hill, is just north of here. There are other Black Hills in contention however, but no matter, it's still one of my favourite books.
My face is glowing red from exposure to this rarely seen Sun. Not good but so great to be out.
