Dune, differently

Riumar certainly has a different ambiance at the weekend. Today the beach was full of kitesurfers, about 30 of them, swooping around each other without getting their wires in a tangle. I took quite a few action shots, including several of a guy doing somersaults, but I suppose it's hardly surprising that this jumped out at me when I looked at them on the computer. It's much more my style! Better in large.

As you can see it was a lovely day. We went for a short bike ride (very short for me, as I decided my maximum range was a kilometre). Then we decided to try the other restaurant on the quay, the one the locals go to, so we cycled up there. As is so often the case in Spain, it's better to follow tourists than locals where restaurants are concerned. It was cheaper than the touristy restaurant, but not better value for money. Ropey steak and fizzy rosé about sums it up. On the way home we discovered that the local campsite is now open for business, which means there's a shop open every day (8 a.m. to 9 p.m!). Yay! Saves traipsing into Deltebre whenever we run out of milk.
