Dimmingsdale.
At last I have been out for a good walk around Dimmingsdale today.
Dimmingsdale was once a part of the Earl of Shrewsbury's estates, you walk along the drives the earl made to take carriages on pleasure trips. There are dramatic sandstone outcrops with trees perched on there tops, a stream running along the valley floor, and a lake near to the Ramblers Retreat where you can stop for coffee and cake if you feel the need !
