A tight squeeze!

This afternoon an air ambulance flew over our house for several minutes trying to work out where to land. The chosen spot demonstrated some amazing flying skills. On one side of the rotor blades branches were about 6 feet away and on the other no more than 10 feet. I congratulated the pilot - having flown many times in helicopters over the years I really appreciate what a superb piece of flying he'd undertaken - and minutes later he made an equally impressive take off avoiding the branches once again.
