roadside daffodils

After 3 days away I felt very tired today. It was a lovely morning but just couldn't motivate myself to get out. After lunch, in need of a blip, I walked up through Stock Ghyll woods then back  down the road where this photo was taken. The daffodils in the top part of the wood are all in bud and I hope to be back in a few days for some photos.

Spent a few hours in the kitchen this afternoon. With red wine as an ingredient it was inevitable that I drank a glass (or many) while our meal  was cooking. Hope I feel ok tomorrow morning!
