The Hermitage of Braid
... with Hermitage House, lots of three-cornered leek and Finn waiting for a stick.
I've always thought the house would make a great restaurant/tea room ... but it's a visitor information centre and always seems to be closed.
The invasive three-cornered leek seems to be all over the Hermitage now so people should be using it more. All parts of the plant are edible, both raw and cooked, with a mild garlic flavour - a versatile ingredient in salads, pesto, soups etc.
I'd have it on the lunch menu if I ran the Hermitage House restaurant.
