Defiant

Started tapering for the Liverpool Half-Marathon, so it was a mellow 14 miles today with some members of the club. The wind was strong on the prom and if it were to be the same next Sunday, the last four miules are going to be a real slog.

These two trees seem to be resisting everything thrown at them, quite admirable in such an exposed place.

However, trees aren't going to win any races.
