We Are Not Amused
He sits outside and peeps around the stile of the door, waiting imperiously to be let in. No, not to be let in; for the doorman to open the door so he can make his grand entrance. The window is open and he can get in easily that way, but he still insists on sitting and waiting to come in through the front door - must be an Aristo-cat. He does the same when he wants to go out. Just sits there and waits for us to open the door, the front door - won't go out the back door.
Anyway, what about all those primroses and hyacinths in bloom, beautiful! Really feeling like spring is here, and such a lovely warm start to the day.
A bit of a lie-in after waking at 4.45am for some reason. Doesn't last long as his nibs starts head-butting me and licking my nose to get his breakfast . Yes, the cat - who did you think?
Meeting this morning so we have a relatively relaxed start to the day. Arrive just in time, they've started a bit early as there are a few newcomers and a couple giving a talk after meeting, so they settled early and got stuck in. Left before the talk, wanted to visit Dad on the way home.
Sat out in the garden with him in the warmth of the sun, realise he's a bit behind as he hasn't got his meal cooking yet so we invite him to join us later , when the sun's going down.
Afternoon passes fairly quickly and I only manage to get mastic pointing finished on the sink, still have the bath to do tomorrow. Time to get the veg. on and meat in to cook. Collect Dad for 5pm and before we know it have returned him home and it's dark. Where did the day go?
